Jet Mentis Charter Foundation
Built for Brokers Starting From Zero
The program is the entry-level education track for individuals who are brand new to aviation charter brokerage. It is designed to give you the knowledge to start your own brokerage and to sit for JMCB™.
This course assumes no prior aviation experience and is designed to build the correct foundation from day one—before bad habits, regulatory blind spots, or sales-driven shortcuts take hold.
What the Program Covers:
- Business aviation basics, aircraft categories, and airports
- How charter actually works, and who is responsible for the flight
- The FAA and DOT rules brokers need to understand, in plain English
- Setting up a brokerage: banking, bookkeeping, payments, technology, contracts and insurance
- Marketing a brokerage without misrepresenting the broker’s role
- Finding and evaluating operators
- Quoting, selling, and managing a trip from booking through post-flight, including when a trip goes wrong
- A capstone: one realistic charter request, worked from the first call through post-flight
- Hangar Talk: live, mentor-led discussion sessions every week
